Factory radio problem

Having a problem with my factory radio. When a a very lows volume plays fine when the volume is turned up even just a little bit the radio loses its volume powers still on just no volume turn power of a couple times comes back on but does the same as before. Factory 99 radio

No clue but thats odd. What type of deck is it? Am/fm cd, am/fm tape, am/fm with tape and external cd.?

its am/fm with tape and external cd, thanks for the link at least i got somewhere to start
