thanks for the link and instructions. the DONOR that I used has a OEM alarm installed as well. didnt get the remotes though. this will save me wiring a new keyless unit in to teh truck.

Unless you're just dead set on having an OEM remote, I would just buy something aftermarket like an Avital 2200. They're cheap and relatively easy to install. You don't even need to hook up the speaker, or shock sensor if you don't want.
If you do have factory keyless, it's as simple as buying the correct keyfob and programming it in about 10 seconds using a paperclip. I've lost several key fobs and have to do this lol

Thanks. I own an electronics shop but in this case if all I need to do is get a remote to make this work then that's what I will do.
