Finishing up my 5.3 swap into my 99 tahoe. I need to redo the exhaust. I really am not enthusiastic about running the exhaust under the trans. I guess I could but it just seems really unprotected. I am contemplating running a cat on the drivers side then crossing over after the transfer case. has anyone run an exhaust like this? I am a bit concerned with the fuel line routing and putting a cat so close to that side.
Going to swap over to a SAS at some point so want to make sure also that I have enough driveshaft clearance when that happens.
