Would anyone have a egr for a 98 chevy k1500 5.7 liter that I can purchase. Don't want to purchase a new one and still get the same problem. And there not cheep

They're 50 bucks? IDK if that's expensive to you or not. Have you tried to clean yours?

I cleaned my egr several times and still engine light comes on. Where did you find a egr for $50.00?
