So ik there are alot of threads about this but I cant find my answer I have a 95 tbi 5.7 350 and a friend is giving me a set of long tube headers off a 78 suburban and I want to put them on my truck but I wouldnt have an egr so what would I all have to do to get them to work either do a egr delete or weld in the egr what would be easier?

I also have headers on my 97 5.7 L Vortec, but my headers are shorty headers that I bought for my truck from Summit, so they are a direct replacement and they fit with all the connections to bolt rite up to what was there from the factory ext. So my EGR is still on my truck.

these headers are for a carbed truck so there isnt an egr bung on it i may just take them and sell them as i am getting them for free and then buy direct fit headers

All you need is a pipe plug and stick it in the intake. Done.
