Hey all, I'm new to the forums here. I have a 1998 K2500 with the 7.4L and 4L80e. Currently all it has is a CAI, true dual cat-back 2 1/4" straight pipes, and a custom 93 octane tune that was live-tuned using HPtuners. The exhaust is raspy as can be and I'm about tired of it (it was like that when I got it). I don't really drive the truck much, since it was grandpa's old truck and only has 65k miles on it. It is mainly a Sunday driver and is sometimes (rarely) used towing a 25ft gooseneck with an 11k lb tractor. I was thinking about removing or gutting out the cats and running a dual 3" exhaust out the back in place of the 2 1/4" pipes that are on it. It would still be straight piped but I'm liable to install an H-pipe too to help with the low-end rumble and get rid of some of the raspyness. Does anyone on here have a similar setup that I could listen to?
