Changed the distibutor in my 90 tbi 350 and it wouldn't start, put the old one back in and now it cranks for 15-20 seconds before it starts.
The reason for changing was the motor would randomly die but the new one wouldn't even start it (guess its bad)
Timing was set to zero with brown/black wire unplugged. Then turned truck off and plugged back in. Now long crank before fire. (Injectors are firing during the time and coil shocked the out of me during the long cranking processes.
So its getting fuel and spark. Any ideas?
