Did any of you have this problem?

After lowering my '97 regular cab my emergency brake would go all the way to the floor. Before lowering, it was nice and firm at about halfway. I did do a rear brake job at the same time the truck got lowered, but I triple checked the brake job to make sure I didn't do something wrong. I ended up adjusting the cable to get it to start working again. I need to adjust it more because it still has way too much travel in it. Thanks for the help. Joe
