defrost will change to floor

Hey guys in my 98 chevy I can have it on defrost but it will blow out the feet and then ever now and then it will blow out the defrost. Is it something in the dash or in the HVAC thing?

Mine does the same. It's either the little door motor went out or its the hvac control panel...

It sucks specially when it rains cause I can't see **** when my window fogs over

look under the dash on the drivers side center and look to see if the motor is working when you move the defrost knob around. there are a couple motors up there and that is where your defrost flap is.
