Just trying to plan ahead... my NV3500 is sloppy.. i can still get each gear fairly easy.. but even in gear the play is embarrassing. The core-shifter seems like the eventual route i'll try to go (once in stock i guess), but i've read here about modifying the OEM to improve/shorten shift... has anyone done this? I cant find anything explaining how this works or a comparison to how it feels compared to just get an new OEM replacement..

I had a core shifter and it worked pretty great. Shorter throw, the left-to-right slop was eliminated, and it looked a helluva lot cooler, especially if you have other custom mods on the truck to add to it. It's the cherry on top.

A little pricey, but it makes it a little more fun to drive.
