Thanks bro, here is a copy of the thread I used to do mine. It is from another forum site I belong to.

Here is the thread, took a while to find. I had to dig deep to find this but here it is. This is not my write up.







Ok I just did this mod and snapped a few pics along the way :eyecrzy:



Went from this:

1st step get the lights out of the truck :smokin:

2nd I located a place where i could solder in to the curcuit board. I took a knife to open up the spots a little bigger:

Then I soldered 2 wires to the curcuit board (sorry the pics a a bit blurry):

Then I routed the wires up the curcuit board and soldered them to the "bright" side of the upper bulb (should be the outer contacts on the bulb):

Make sure when you route the wires that they aren't under the seal (to pervent leaks) or against the bulbs cause they do get hot!
