cheep brake upgrades ????????????

When I had my 93, WT it would stop on a dime. My 97 has always been hard to stop. I have heard that the brakes can be upgraded with some parts from a newer GMT. anyone, do this ?????

i was once reading a page someone made where he talked about how he changed his master cylinder from his ons from a nbs truck and that it made a total difference from the sucky braking power. let me look for it and ill post the link

Put PowerStop rotors and pads on. Much better than stock.

A nbs master cylinder and 1 ton calipers, it'll be like a new truck!
