cheap replacement carb motor?

i converted my 92 to carburetor , shortly before it blew up. anyone know of a cheap place to pick up a 305 or something? dont care the year of the block or if it 2 pc rear main or two or four bolt caps. i live in western washington
any suggestion will help.

Around here you can get a rebuilt short block for under $2K

you can also check your local autozone or advance, they had reman'd blocks and such and jasper etc.

out here in Kansas a vortec rebuilt long block Is $1000 with a good core I know it doesn't help you but??? look in back yards for a carcase, you may find a car with a blown trans and good motor???
