Have a 98 k1500 with the 5.7, has random misfire that causes the whole truck to violently shake. Have checked the u joints, driveshaft, and rear to eliminate those. Has new plugs wires cap rotor intake and spider injection system. Any suggestions would be awesome as I'm at a complete loss at this point.

What do you mean by random? Like it only happens every now and then? Or is it a repeatable misfire that happens ever rotation?

My situation:

I had death-wobble before and cured that by replacing ALL steering components (Pittman/Idler arms mainly).

Random misfire (P0345) was from replacing my distributor and the base timing was outta whack, fixed that via my laptop running ScanXL.
