Does the third brake light work?

Diagram below is for a 1998, but I'd bet that it's similar or the same as a 95.

When the brake is pressed, the brake light switch closes and you'll get voltage to the third brake light at splice #220. From there, it goes through the turn/hazard switch to the rear brake lamps.

Here are the diagnostics, it starts with seeing if you have voltage at the brake switch.

OP, Can you elaborate on what the exact problem and what the solution was? It drives me batty when I go looking for a thread where someone with the same problem I'm having, only to find that the thread dies without any info on the actual problem or solution. Thanks!
