GM performance parts used to make a TBI version of the 502 HT, same heads, cam ect but was CARB exempt in all 50 states for 88-93 GMT400s with a TBI 454. Edelbrock even made an MPI manifold for it.
then for whatever reason GMPP just dropped it and only sells the 502HT for 1976 and earlier carb trucks. Edelbrock also dropped the manifold.
Because its the same engine do you guys think that with the right computer chip and injectors could this engine work in a 96+ vortec truck? and still pass smog Nazi California standards?
any thoughts?
