Hey everyone, I've been following the forum for a long time but have never posted. Well, figured I may as well start.
I love the 96 - 98 trucks. There is just so much you can do to them and so much fun to have.
When I was 16 I bought my first truck. A Black 1997 Chevy 1500 Long Box Extended Cab 4x4. I had huge plans for this truck, but some rat ended up stealing it and driving it into the river, leaving it submerged and unfound for nearly 3 weeks.
Well, I recieved a nice check from insurance and bought another one. A White 1997 GMC Sierra 6' box, extended cab 4x4. I bought it completely stock and have since done the following:
New speakers
New headlights
New tires (33x11.5 Cooper discoverer at3)
New rims (vision warrior 375)
Leveling kit
Window tint
Fixed the rocker panels
Removed the running boards
Here is how it stands now
Will post some more pictures when I get home. I still have big plans for this truck and this forum is the spark for all of the ideas.
