On my 1988 K1500 Ive been trying get my 4WD working for a few months now. Both wiring for the 4WD actuator and the other white connector are not plugged in. Searching around under my truck I found the wiring for the white connecter which I assume is the sensor for the transfer case lights on the inside. I tried plugging the connector in but the wires seem really short and you really have to stretch them too reach the front diff. My wires are running right underbthe oil pan and I was wondering if there was a better way to run the wire or if it is supposed to run directly under your oil pan.
