Well the real point of vacuuming the system is to boil any water that is in there out. This is done by creating a vacuum in which water boils at room temperature. The process starts by discharging the system then holding the vacuum for 15-30 minutes to boil the water out then the recharge begins.

That's only part of it, as I posted above the other reason is to remove the air

The debris was on the orfice tube, the little screen inside the condenser line. We just purchased a new compressor and accumulator with a new orfice tube. Since it's a 95 the condenser is flushable so we are going to flush it with acetone to make sure it's free of debris and moisture.
Shouldn't have anymore problems, really sucks all the parts ran close to $250 :(
But the parts have a lifetime warranty, Oreillys just started offering lifetime replacement on parts purchased under a shop. A friend is a manager there, and works part time at a shop :)
