Hi everyone,

Long time lurker. I'm curious if this is from the factory or was this a repair at some point? It's heading back to the rear AC unit.

What confuses me is it was my dad's and he said he never had work done but this appears to be a splice?

Somebody's worked or done something , the factory would not have left lines hanging with no support clamp. Those fittings have print on them , that might identify what they are.

Not near it now but look like pretty basic press fit.

Press fit what? Used a tube type nut and threaded fitting with "O" ring for most AC lines.
