ABS kicking in often

I think I am going to completely remove the ABS units on both trucks.

When the bearing goes out, the sensors read wrong and trigger the abs.

my 97 z71 ... when i get in and start driving the abs light is off till 20mph and up till then it stops and starts like it should but when the light comes on its hard to leave a stop and acts like a complete dog... why????? its really aggravating... even if i remove the fuse under the hood it does the same thing. the only thing that stops this is to shut the truck off and start over till 20mph... wtf???
