a/c light flashing

the ac in the 92 I recently purchased working so I charged it up and it leaked out after a couple days. I think I found the leak on the back of the compressor so I changed the O-rings, in order to get the compressor to start I used a jumper wire to the battery now the compressor wont kick on by itself without the jumper wire and the a/c light in the dash is flashing. Any advice?

remove the heater a/c control from dash unplug it let it set for a few minutes plug back in,should be good.when recharging jump the low pressure switch

Thanks for the help, I actually just disconnected the battery and it reset.
