99 Tahoe with six inch torsion lift from rough country. 35s on 20x12 wheels with -44 offset. Finally got the exhaust done as well. 2.50 pipes with new cats, o2 sensors into a super 10 muffler from flowmaster.
All new sensors under the hood, transfer case from Bulldog/ The Gear Shop. Steering box is a 96 from Redhead, and the evo delete kit on a new 99 Power steering pump. New catalytic converter and flywheel as well. New upgraded spider injectors. Still a long way to go.., but it’s coming along!!!

Looked at the pix closely. Am I seeing something or is the driver’s side caliper and nearby area covered with… something? Looks like grease but can’t imagine why.

Are my eyes whacked? It’s early…

Does the steering intermediate rod, idler, and gearbox get lowered too, or do the tie rods simply take up the 6” height difference? Or rather is a different knuckle used?

Never seen one of these lifts up close, so curious.

No it’s not grease. Everything is new except the lower control arms. But they got new bushings! That shine is the black paint i sprayed them with! The new calipers wild have rusted. There was a big shop light pointed at it all so i could take the pics, and it made that new paint look like that. If you look at it all in the daytime it doesn’t look like grease. That lift kept everything in the front-end at factory level by the way. There was cutting, drilling and grinding involved but it wasn’t too bad. If I were to do it again I’d pay to have it done just because of the hours involved. The torsion lift in my opinion is the hardest one! The grinding of the front diff cooling fins was something else! i had to drop it again and grind some more!! As long as you follow the torque specs on everything it’s tight and sound. It was a learning experience for sure! Everybody should do it Once in their life!!!!!!!
