hey fellas little problem here or atleast I hope it's a little problem my 99 Silverado z71 5.3 auto has been having problems with misfires and turns off if let at low idle .. after taking into a shop they are telling me the ecu is bad damaged ..internals memory bla bla bla ... my question is the next should I buy one off eBay used and try it out on my truck ?? Get mine rebuilt? And if I do get one off eBay what years can I be sure the computer will work? I have a 99 Silverado new body style .. like the 2000-2001-2002.. any help would be greatly appreciated ...
