98 k1500 rear brake line

I have to replace passenger side rear brake line and not sure what length i should get? It goes into the rear brake drum cylinder right next to the bleeder any help would be appreciated.

A 6' length should be sufficient for you to be able to nicely follow the axle out to the wheel cylinder and give you room to cut twice if you don't get a good flare on the ends during the first try.

Usually its cost efficient to buy a 20 or 25' spool, chances are if this line rotted out the others are not to far behind

5 foot is plenty if you mean from the diff to the passenger side rear wheel. I just replaced that same line on my suburban and had to cut a little more than a foot off of a 5 foot chunk.

Make sure you use flare fittings. Compression fittings are not a wise choice for brake lines. Ask me how I know.....
