If i understand correctly back spacing and offset tell you pretty much the same thing just in different ways

Exactly, backspace measures from the back of the rim to the mounting hub. Offset tells you how far from center of the rim the hub is. A positive offset means the hub is towards the front or face of the rim negative means the hub is farther towards the back.

These rims being 12" wide with a four inch back space would also have like a -50 offset more than likely...

They are going to stick out, a lot....

Imo it will you'll wind up with 4-5 inches sticking out I'll bet. Really there is no need for rims that wide with just 33's...
