Drop in the 350 all fluids and drive. With 35's at least 4.10s. I'm at a constant battle between 4.10s and 3.73 with a 285/75/16. I would really love to do a 3.92 but can't find them

Don't I have to change the gears in the t case too? Did they make a stock 4.10 t case or is there aftermarket out there?

No t case gears to change just front and rear differential. I would recommend replacing the hillary Clinton gov bomb while I was there if you have one. I like the truetrac but anything is better than the grenade gm put in there there

The gears are 3.73 the t case is 2.73 i think. So if I go with 4.10 shouldnt the t case be 3.10 or something?

No there are no gears for the t case

They use a planetary style gear. The only application I've ever seen changing planetary ratios is to help close the gap between first and second in the 700r4/4l60e

That would make sense being I got those numbers from my 94 5.7 with a 4l60

No that planetary is for racing applications only you never have to change transfer case ratios

Ok still need sources on a computer or a tune so I can put the 350 in. I was told dealer only to reprogram cimputer. Type 2 program or something but they wont touch it
