96 4.3l to 2000 pcm swap issues?

I have a 1996 half ton 4.3l and a Blackbox pcm out of a 2000 astro van that was also a 4.3, I've seen it mentioned in a few threads on here the swap to the 98-00 pcm Is pretty simple but I couldn't find any in depth explanation on the pinout and I also wonder if the 2000 pcm being out of a van would cause problems going into a truck, I understand that the preferred swap is to the 411 but I don't plan to do any major mods to this motor and I'd just like to be able to do some simple changes with hptuners. thanks for any insight
