95 4l60e to a 94 4l60e

I have a 1994 k1500 with the 4l60e that when u go to take off on a hill it slips so I'm thinking the trans is bad I have a good 1995 4l60e and I'm wondering if change the valve body and wiring in the 1995 to the 1994 valve body would it work in the 1994

Can anyone on this thread help I just need to know if the valve body and wiring harness are the only differences between a 1994 4l60e and a 1995 4l60e

95 is a one-off year for the 4l60.

95 was the start of the pwm (pulse width modulation) lockup.
The parts that are affected are.
1. Solenoids
2. Valve body
3. Pump
4. computer tuning was also changed

Now that said: the internal parts from the 94 will Interchange EXCEPT the valve body & gaskets, Pump, Solenoids, If your just wanting to Patch the Transmission you could switch the input drums to get your 3rd and 4th back. But honestly I would Rebuild YOUR Transmission instead of going through all that work for used parts.
