So my 2000 k2500 has 4.10's in a 9.5" 14 bolt and I'm looking at swapping out for a 10.5" 14 bolt out of a 1994 k2500 diesel. It's got 3.73's, not sure if its got the factory locker/posi unit or if it's an open diff.

I've searched and can't find any info on this swap. Will I need a conversion u-joint to do this? Between '94 and 2000 was there a change to the spring pad widths or shock mounts or even ebrake cables? On the 9.5 is there an ABS sensor on the rear diff? I'd check but my driveway is 6" of slush.

I do also have the front diff out of the '94. Would I need to change anything on it to make the newer 4x4 actuator work or are they interchangeable?

Thanks.
