Hey guys. Working on a 88 k2500 with a tbi 350.
Engine ran before letting it sit for a couple years. Now theres no power to the fuel pump and the injectors arent firing. Got lots of spark and the engine will start if u dump a bit of fuel down the throttle.
If i jump the fuel pump wiring with 12v the pump does come on and send fuel to the tbi unit. Also, the injectors will fire if jumped. So i believe this to be a wiring issue...
Swapped fuel pump relay and no change. Checked the fuse and ive got no power. At the fuel pump 5wire relay connector under the hood the orange wire has 12v.
Just confused as to where the fuel pump fuse recieves its 12v. Both wires that come off the fuse seem to head deep into the harness instead of going upto the power spply bus on the passenger side firewall or battery pos.
Any light shed on this would be appreciated!
