4x4 works but no light on the floor shifter

I checked the bulb and the fuse but neither is the culprit. Anyone have any ideas? Truck is a 1998.

The front diff engagement switch is threaded into the differential housing, above the passenger side axle tube. Could have gone bad, or a wire in the circuit broke.
