4l65 tcc tuning

From what I've read you can lock converter in 2,3&4 on 4l80 with the ls computers. Can you do the same with the 4l65?

What year PCM?
With the LS1 PCM from 99-07 you can lock the TCC in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.
The 4l60, 4l65 and 4l70 are all the same with what your trying to do.

Thank you. Not sure if I'm going to run an 0411 or p59 computer yet. The 4l60's and 4l65 seam to do ok. I smoked a 65 behind a lq9 when the converter unlocked and made a bunch of heat. I think I can make these live behind a good motor if I can keep converter locked and use torque management. Would rather have a 4l80 but these are 4wd and just drivers not towing anything

Either PCM will work.
Sure, torque management, larger cooler, Correct pressure and a sane driver and they are usually ok. Until they arent.

Ya my 65 in my caddy has a really loose converter. Survived 100k miles of abuse and a misfire unlocked the converter at 90. I was cranking the radio and didn't notice until the smoke show. Converter seal let loose at 320° trans temp. Putting a fresh l31 in the suburban but don't want to have to find an 80 and t case and deal with drive shafts for the swap. 100 mile a day run on freeway to work and back and a third row for hauling kids for the wife at times. I'm sure I can make it live i just want a little insurance for the times the wife drives it
