So, I decided to replace the fluid and filter on my tranny, and the kit came with a filter seal.
I didn't think removing the old seal would be a problem as I've removed copper o-rings from VW and motorcycle heads at least half a dozen times with no issues.
I usually tap one side of the seal with a small screwdriver to make a dent in the seal, and that usually causes it to pop up so that I can extract it with a pick.
Well, to make a long story short, I gouged the bore for the seal pretty bad.
How will this affect the new seal since it's somewhat of a press fit?
Still kicking myself...I should've known better...
