350 to 454 Oil Adapter Swap Question

Good luck. Are you keeping the 454 stock?

Yes. For a few reasons. One, it is going to be mated to a 700R4 until I find a 4L80E 4WD or rebuild my 2WD version. (I may be bringing home a 96 Surburban 4X4 today to rob the running gear out of including driveshafts!, and of course the Vortec 454.) The other is I wanted a mostly drop in swap. I do all my work in a gravel driveway in the open elements. Thanks for all the help!

For posterity, the PF454 oil filter will work for my application.
