I'm about to put a 3" body lift on my 96' K1500 and was wondering what would be most beneficial. Should I use floor jacks or should I use a lift. Thanks

Floor jacks work great but you may need some scrap wood to bridge the gap between jack and bed/cab.

I used a forklift with scrap wood on the forks to lift the entire drivers side of the bed, then entire drivers side of the cab...etc, etc. it was a piece of cake. Floor jacks would do the same, just take a little longer. The hardest part was removing stuck bolts in that project.

I used floor jacks too. But if you have access to a lift, why not??
