2004 Yukon Denali 2nd or 3rd seat in a 1989 Gmc K1500 std cab

I have come across a nice leather 2nd and 3rd seat out of a 04 Denali. I would like to put one of them in the 89 GMC Sierra SLE 4x4 std cab. Has anyone had experience with this type of mod and if so what am I up against.

Not really, not without a lot of work. I mean you *could* make the 2nd row work if you feel like building custom brackets for it. The 2nd row seat brackets in the SUV's are not like the front row seats at all, and the 3rd row seats are going to be too narrow.

If you're just hunting for an "easy" source for a seat that will fit your regular cab and it's not all worn out, look at GMT400 crew cab rear seats. It'll bolt right in.

Thanks for the advise, I am capable of building the brackets but I will see what I can find out of a crew cab.

If you can DIY, this is what I did to put Cadillac seats in my truck. Underseat storage! It's a fair bit of work, but worth it.
