2004 Yukon console in 96 k1500

Has anyone put the full console from a 2004 yukon or close year. in a chevy k1500 ext cab. I was thinking about doing this, just trying to get a little info before I tried it. Any answers would be appreciated

One of our moderators, @kennythewelder , has a beautiful 97 C1500 extended cab pickup, and he has the later series 00-06 console in it, with a custom made floor shifter. He has many pictures of the installation, that are on several threads here. Most in the interior section, I think....

It is a tight fit, and takes some customizing, but it can be done. I only used the back section as mentioned here.

Kennys looks OEM, that is probably one of the hardest parts when customizing, imo.
