I know there are different types of polish for plastics, and one of them might be suitable for these lenses. I think they are made of clear polystyrene, like model car "glass" is.

Hey hey hey, I gots another one! Freshly picked from a 2000 Tahoe Limited this afternoon!
Good tight action on the trip meter, nice and clean, very minor scratches on the lens(like they all get cause people don't dust the lens off with a microfiber cloth or a soft towel). Here's pictures:
Also got a hubcap, truck has two more I'll get on Saturday.
$200 OBO on the cluster, + shipping (or I can do local pickup in greater Houston, Texas area).

I know one of y'all out there needs/wants this....I don't wanna keep it cause Mom will get speeding tickets, watching the needle go up! Rawhide gets up to 65-70 easily enough and quickly enough with the stock speedo!

I shipped the first one I sold, last month, to northeast Texas by FedEx, cost $27 and he had it the next day! It'd probably be a little more expensive to Maryland, but if he's interested, he needs to PM me (conversation icon, envelope picture). With zip code and address I can figure shipping out.
I agree, the diesel cluster is unique to them as far as I know.

First I gotta find one in the yard! Anything older than '95 on the 400s is rare. Now if I see one at a swap meet... I'll have to see what they're asking for it.
