New Project that i picked up

99 Crew Cab Long Box 6.5 Diesel 4x4

when i got it:

You must be registered for see images attach



Best Friends 6.5 Diesel and mine filling up for the return trip home

After adding 06 Duramax wheels and 285 BFG All terrains with about 1/4 tread left

This is where i am at now.

Future Plans:

Fix Right Front Wheel Bearing
Fix the cab light that is out

Crank Torsion Bars a little
4" Diamond Eye Exhaust
6" MBRP tip
Heath Diesel Cross Over
Heath Diesel Max E Tork Tune
Heath Diesel Turbo Master
Meth injection or intercooler

There is absolutly no rust on the truck and I plan to do body work in spring and fix up the interior also

Nice rig. I liked my 6.5L diesel when I had it.

Since you just bought it, make sure it has a stanadyne PMD as when they fail, they just die. The other aftermarket ones can have a runaway where it overfuels the truck and trust me, it's not a good situation.

Nice project. Please relocate your PMD from the engine bay if it isnt already. The intake mounts are just as bad if not worse then the stock location.

Look at the PMD itself, if it doesn't say stanadyne I would swap it out... The D-tech brand is one of the worst aftermarket ones out there.

I will Look in to it more. at a glance i didnt see any manufacture name on it other than pensecola diesel. I will look in to it some more this weekend!
