So the 1998 c1500 I bought has 3.73 gears in it instead of the 3.42 that it left the factory with. It was like this when I bought it, and I plan on keeping the 3.73 gears since it helps the v6 when towing. The speedometer reads off, and I would like to correct it.
I work for a dealership bodyshop and can get my hands on a tech 2 gm scan tool.
Does anyone know for sure if the tech 2 can access and change the speedo settings?
