whats up guys, ive got a 1994 full size blazer 4x4

its only got 63k original miles motor and tranny

my uncle had it sitting for a while and i picked it up, he never used the 4x4 but i plan to
its got the floor shifter, i put it both in hi and low and the transfer case engages an front drive shafts spins but no pull from the front tires, im assuming the actuator
i read there was three different designs? was hoping one of y'all could link me to the good one and a good place to order from

thanks!

i was looking into one of those, but before i pulled the trigger i got under the truck and pulled the actuatore and the connections were pretty dirty, i cleaned everything up and put straight 12v to the actuator and it worked...

next i cleaned up both ends of the connectors and put die electric grease in them and left the actuator out of the diff, but i engaged it in 4hi and it popped out like it was suppose to.
could something be blocking it inside the diff? remember it hasant been used in 10+ yrs i havent checked to se if my front wheels pull yet im just wondering

great white

Your TLA is probably too pooped to pop after all these years. It happens to everything when it gets old.

;)

You can replace it and drive for another 5-10 years, change it to the newer servo style actuator (there's a retrofit kit) or you can use the aftermarket cable actuation.

Your call.

:)

I had mine go out in the Pismo dunes this last summer..... for an extra $50 I could've had the posi-lok lol
but theyre super easy to replace and mine lasted all of these last 20 years so "shrugs" seems fine
plus I needed it then & there to get back out in the beach

if it aint broke, don't fix it.
