1978 ford bronco ranger xlt

It’s simple, has headers with cherry bombs and a aluminized exhaust, 4 speed top loader and a 351m, wagon wheels, 71 mach one hood scoop,
want to put a 427 in it, and restore it correctly, wasn’t done correctly before.

Looks good, those have gone up a lot in price over the last couple of years. I used to have a 93 but sold it. Should’ve kept it.

thanks, we have been offered 15,000 for it with bondo popping, can’t get rid of it tho it has sentimental value

They really are... There used to be a saying that when Jeep Wranglers got maxed out and couldn't get any better or more capable, they would upgrade to these full size Bronc's. Not so much anymore since new Wranglers share pretty much the same dimensions as these beasts.

I would not mind adding a 78 or 79 bronco to the collection but they are not cheap any more. it would get very few mods 1 ton axles a np203/205 triple stick dubbleer soft top the biggest lift they make for it and a 460
the 80-96 are okay but are not as good as the 78-79

that sounds like a good plan, don’t see a lot of 78-79
