I can't imagine a cop waking up in the morning and the first thing on his mind is looking for vehicles with beadlocks. I think that goes in the loud exhaust and Window tint category.. They have to be bored and actually know what they're looking at.

Although they may not be looking for it. If you were to have a wheel or tire failure and kill someone guess who just became liable.

The chances of them having a failure is pretty unlikely though. Less likely than a regular wheel.
The abuse we put our beadlocks through is unimaginable.

Stock 8 bolt, 12 bolt, and both 24 bolt variants of HMMWV beadlocks are DOT approved. The higher end Aluminum variants on the Civilian H1s are as well. What laws do you have that specifically make use of beadlocks illegal?
