1.6l and 2.3l supercharger

I currently have a 1.6L whipple supercharger on my 454. Is it true that there is also a 2.3L?

Yeah, I have the 1.6 on my 5.7 and the 2.3 on my 7.4.

Do you know if the 2.3 would be a direct swap with my 1.6? Jon Bond Performance said they have a housing and could convert mine to a 2.3 if I sent it in for a rebuild and upgrade but they weren't sure of the fitment.

I swear the 1.6 had one of the ends stretched, but I only saw it on the google as I initially didn't realize the 1.6 came for the 454.

I didn't install it on the truck. The truck was build by a member of the forum and he said it was a 1.6. I'm get 8lbs of boost or so with a 2.5 pulley.

Where are you measuring the pulley from? Pulley size sounds more commensurate for a 1.6 than 2.3.

I'm measuring the outside diameter of the supercharger pulley.

OD of the ribs where the belt rides? 1.6 came stock with a 3" and 2.3 stock with 3.5" pulley IIRC.

I know the supercharger wasn't installed new on the truck. So maybe the original owner did something different. But I measure the OD of the face of the pulley.
