Trying to find non vortec threads (open to any other site- thirdgen as well) related to 0411 swaps- specifically 7747 to 0411 or 1989 K1500.

Thanks

Well you'd need to add a crank reluctor at a minimum. Not sure how happy a 411 would be firing only 2 injectors, but without a cam sensor it may work as that would put it into batch fire mode.

Why the 0411, are you trying to control an electronically controlled trans? If not, how about the EBL Flash2? It runs at a baud rate of 8192 (IIRC) instead of 160 (7747), has extended tables and capable of WBO2, N2O, and boost. It's also plug and play with your wiring harnesses.

Hi, getting into a few specifics- I already have the EBL Flash MPFI running a 385 sbc with a First TPI injection, 700R4. The 24X reluctor- EFI Connection is installed. I have a mint harness off a 99 truck, 0411 ecu, vortec dizzy and blanking cap, LT1 TB for newer IAC/TPS, and a 4L60E 1998 core to rebuild (one piece case to bolt right in). I just like the cnp set up, electronic trans and I believe the 0411 will have lean cruise like the EBL.

Hi, I'm in contact with DaveW, still doing a little work on the EBL- smart guy. Just not much info on my specific conversion. Need to build a stout 4L60E and that's a chunk of change right now.

I actually had a 2005 4L80E core that I sold- it's a bit of work to install with front and rear driveshaft and trans support refit and it sucks hp- my 700R was built right and I know how to drive them- 4L60E core is a one piece unit that will bolt in physically with no issues. 4L80 has its place- I don't believe this application warrants it.
