02 sensor bung

hello im workin on my buddys 1987 sierra 305 tbi and the pervious owner had the exhaust replaced and of course the exhaust shop instead of putting an o2 sensor bung in the y pipe got lazy and just snapped the 02 sensor in half and left it dangleing hopeing knowone would be the wiser:mad: so as a result the truck is runing pig rich and getting ty gas mileang because its in warm up mode all the time. my question is what size o2 sensor bung do i need (dianeter thread pitch ect.) thank you

Get the sensor then find a nut to match at NAPA,Pep Boys,Autozone.Then drill a hole and weld it in.Drill the hole on the upper area of the pipe so moisture won't collect on it.

Best I can think of.I've done similar with a trans temp sensor on a trans pan.

Exhaust shops all have them... or most auto parts stores can get them too....
