    One salty Tahoe...

So...last Monday, I started to lose the 3/4 clutch pack. I horsed around with it, and managed to force some sort of limp mode, as I got all 4 forward gears, a firm shift (like the TPS is unplugged), but no slipping in any gear. In limp mode, I do lose TCC lock. Going home last night, I had to...

Oh yeah, the other alloy is in the cargo area with a flat tire on it...I haven't the foggiest idea as to why, but that's just how it came.

    One salty Tahoe...

I was told to post pics of my 1996 Tahoe, regardless of the shape it's in. Suffice it to say, she's in need of a date with a sander, a cutting wheel, a welder, and some new metal. Also, for anyone who knows Tourettes Guy...F**K SALT!! I intend on some major work on this thing once winter...

    Hello from Ohio

Thanks! It was running like a dog today, so I went to a couple of exhaust shops to see what could be done. None of them would go near it without making it OEM again ($$$$$$$$$$). Since I'm only really having fuel issues in closed loop, a friend of mine said it would be possible, if I unplugged...

    Hello from Ohio

Here is a glorious MSPaint representation made of the current state of my exhaust. Used the alldata picture of the correct setup as my template. Found the O2 on the passenger side had just been cut. The wires were just dangling.

    Hello from Ohio

Well, the most powerful car I've ever owned was a 1994 Saab 9000 Aero. With a huge turbo, 220hp and 250lbs of torque all going through the front wheels, that car was somewhat tricky to drive. The first time I found boost, I scared myself. Since the Saab, I've driven a few 3.1L Grand Prixs, a...

    Hello from Ohio

I actually work just north of Grove City off Frank Road. I got the idea to check for people who do exhaust work on craigslist, and actually turned up a few results, so I can call around and see if I can avoid paying out the wazoo.

    Hello from Ohio

Thanks everyone for the kind welcome! Airman, I-O, and thanks for your service! I live on the faaar West Side, in Lincoln Village just off West Broad Street. I say far west, because anything east of...say, the Casino is pretty shifty. Anyhow, my drivability issues came back with a frickin...

    Hello from Ohio

Probably single...there's really no reason for me to go dual. Had a "Jeebus" moment in the 'hoe' a little bit ago... So I thought it was kinda down on power. Tonight, I realized that I forgot to drop my rent off at the management office (about 10 miles away). On the way home, I had to get in...

    Hello from Ohio

I got a look underneath a little bit ago. The exhaust is certainly hashed together on the passenger side downpipe. It'll probably need new from the logs back. I definitely don't want to go the straight pipe route. Probably going to keep it stock save for maybe a Flowmaster.

    Hello from Ohio

Haha, no not yet. It's not much to look at for the moment...I wanna hit it with a power washer or a spray nozzle at the car wash to get rid of some of the pine needles, pine sap, and flaking clearcoat before I take any pictures.

If anyone is interested in it, I do have the compnine build sheet. Not everyone really cares about them, but I love looking at them. http://www.compnine.com/mycar.php?id=4851af909c55bfe400619f4d91291828

    Hello from Ohio

Hi everyone, my name is Aaron. I just got my hands on my first ever Tahoe, a 1996 2-door 4x4. I gave one 2000 Buick LeSabre for it. I would stop short of calling it a basket case, but it does have its issues. The tinworm has gotten ahold of it, and the clearcoat is in dire need of some...
