    Towing with a 4L60e....overdrive?

    My 97 has the 350, 4L60e with tow package, extra trans cooler in front of rad. I have installed a temp gauge also. Since the OBS trucks dont have a tow mode button, I have been advised to not use OD, but to tow in 3rd. My 5th wheel trailer is about 6000 lbs. So far I have had no trouble doing...

    Mirror

    Backing into the garage, I clipped the right side mirror. It seems to have knocked the outer skin loose from the inside part.     Intermitant wiper problem

    They work fine, but at the lowest setting, the wipers activate every 5 seconds....when you get up to the middle setting, its the same as the wipers being on full time. I would rather at the low setting that the wipers would activate every 10 seconds or so....Any way to adjust this? 97 GMC 4x4

    Hi all. just joined....Recently bought this 97 GMC SLE 4x4 to tow my 24ft 5th wheel. It will stay pretty much as is, as I like it this way.....for now...lol I am an older guy, semi retired, work part time driving for NAPA....that employee discount sure comes in handy owning older vehicles thanks
