A/C only blows out of floor vents, how to fix?

Is there a servo somewhere under the dash perhaps? I thought it sounded like the flaps were struggling to change position a few months back, now all I get is floor - no matter what I have the fan direction selector dialed to. ps. I changed the blower motor/fan/resistor/relay last winter, so...

How hard is it to replace A/C system?

oh it's empty alright. compressor sprung a leak so big I could charge the system and have it last 2 days, spraying crud all over the bottom of the hood while it bleeds out.

OK... back with an update and some corrections: Turns out this truck is NOT the W/T version, but is a RC/SB Sierra. Also, truck did not need a starter, it only needed a mere battery cable! $35 buck repair. But, as you see from the attached photo - this fella needs some new tires, so...

so, how crazy does this sound? in-laws are giving me a 1994 GMC 1500 W/T, 3" lift. been in the family since new. 160K miles. no rust. keep in mind this is the lowly RCLB 4.3 V6 bone stock. ... and here's the catch: hasn't been driven in months, it needs a starter, and it is 1,200 miles...
